AP Spanish Language - Syllabus

Conducted in Spanish, emphasis in this course is placed on the ability of the student to comprehend, to compose expository passages,  and to express ideas orally with accuracy and fluency.  Oral skills are emphasized in daily class sessions.  Students have extensive reading assignments.  A variety of media and other audio-visual materials are used daily.  This course prepares students to take the Advanced Placement exam in May.

Spanish II - Syllabus

In this course, basic grammatical concepts are expanded. Oral and written expression are emphasized through compositions and oral presentations. Readings focus on the linguistic, geographical, historical and cultural aspects of Spanish-speaking communities in the United States and the world. Practical vocabulary is increased. Computer technology and audio-visual materials are used extensively.

Spanish I - Syllabus

This course provides an introduction to the Spanish language, culture and geography.  Students develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.  A variety of media and other audio-visual materials are used extensively.
