However, you may always check out this page for service opportunities, useful links, and idea-starters to help you complete much-needed OVERDUE hours, or to start working ahead to meet next year's minimum service quota!

Searching for locals-only volunteer opportunties in Los Angeles County?

Visit laworks.com to find community service opportunities in the neighborhood, from park beautification to childcare.  You can also find one-time events or opportunities for ongoing service.

laworks.com is also where you can find a very useful "Volunteer Opportunities Calendar" (viewable by day, week or month) if you have a specific day free and want to view potential volunteer opportunities.

Are you struggling to find service opportunities that match your interests?

Surf to idealist.org to search through thousands of volunteer opportunities, in dozens of focus areas, from medical to legal to animal welfare and beyond!

*tip: Scroll down to "Advanced Options" to narrow down service opportunities by Age = TEENS.  That way, you can narrow down your search results to find volunteer listings that are particularly good for busy teens trying to juggle study and service!
