As you are all well aware, recently released guidelines require that we all remain "Safer at Home" through April 30. As a result, and in the best interest of our community, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel our Annual Alumnae Reunion scheduled for Sunday, May 3. We will celebrate the -0 and -5 classes at our 2021 Reunion.
While Reunion weekend is certainly a celebration of memories past, it also serves as major scholarship support for our current and future Pandas. Celebrating class gifts make up a large portion of our annual financial support. In fact, last year our celebrating classes raised nearly $100,000! Now, more than ever, we need these crucial funds, as some of our families are in sudden financial crisis due to recent events and are concerned about their ability to pay their student's tuition.
In this time of need, we ask you to think back to what your time at Immaculate Heart meant for you and consider making a gift right now to support our new Financial Aid Contingency Fund.
Perhaps you can consider donating:
$80, which is our registration fee for the reunion
$440 to cover one week's tuition for a family in need
a gift of $10 in solidarity with your sister Pandas
No matter your level of support during these trying times, we thank you for considering what you can do to keep our current students enrolled at our beloved institution.
These are different days for sure, and while challenging right now, we have no doubt we will come out stronger. Our community has always rallied together when needed because we are women of great heart and right conscience.
Our entire school community wishes you and your family health and well-being during this very difficult time.
An independent, Catholic, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
