What is your favorite lesson to cover and why?
My favorite lesson to cover is ATHLETICS! I get to teach core values that will help student athletes throughout their lives.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words “The WALK”?
When I hear the words “The WALK,” the first thing that comes to mind is, “What’s the fastest time? I gotta beat it.”

What do you love about Catholic education?
Coming from Catholic school, I really appreciated the family environment and the thought of “we are in this together.” I believe I learned valuable lessons about honesty, integrity, leadership and commitment that I don’t think I would have gotten anywhere else.

What has been your favorite place to travel? Where would you like to travel next?
My favorite place to travel by far has been Paris, France. The food, culture and art have stuck with me and I can’t wait to get back. I would like to travel to northern Italy next and see Florence, Milan and Venice.

A Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
