The library offers all students access to a wide range of resources for all grade levels. Resources are selected to support and enrich the curriculum, and to encourage a life-long love of learning. The library's collection contains approximately: 30,000 volumes; 32 magazines; and three newspaper subscriptions. The collection also includes 23,500 print resources (including fiction, non-fiction, and reference materials) as well as subscriptions to The Los Angeles Times, New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Tidings, and The National Catholic Reporter. A print periodicals collection of 35 titles is maintained, and students also have access to hundreds of titles via the library’s electronic databases.

  • Britannica Online School Edition

    Four complete encyclopedias, thousands of magazine and journal articles from EBSCO, an Internet Guide with editor-selected Web sites chosen for their relevancy and educational value, teacher resources, videos, multimedia, interactive lessons, and thousands of images and illustrations
  • EBSCO Host

    A powerful online reference system accessible via the Internet, EBSCO Host's database boasts thousands of publications with access to millions of full text and primary source documents.
  • Gale

    Gale provides libraries with original and curated content, as well as the modern research tools that are crucial in connecting libraries to learning, and learners to libraries. Students have access to "In Context" and "Biography."

    "In Context" offers cross-curricular content including more than 150 reference publications, full-text newspapers and periodicals, maps, hundreds of thousands of images, videos, and audio selections. "Biography" is built on a foundation of more than 650,000 biographical entries covering international figures from all time periods and areas of study.

    JSTOR is a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources. JSTOR helps people discover, use, and build upon a wide range of content through a powerful research and teaching platform, and preserves this content for future generations.
  • LibGuides

    A valuable resource for teachers and students, LibGuides are specially prepared portals for students to begin their online searches. These portals guide students to legitimate sites with reliable information and give students the research tools they will likely use in college.


The library currently has a networked computer lab equipped with a total of 18 iMac computers as well as three Windows computers. The library also has a mobile laptop cart with 30 computers which are available for checkout throughout the day. All computers are networked and have filtered Internet access via a high speed 100Meg fiber connection and wireless access throughout. The library provides scanning and video/image/sound editing capabilities for creation of multimedia content for class projects and assignments. The computers provide easy access to the library's online catalog as well as the following software:  Microsoft Office 2010; Geometer Sketchpad; Audacity, Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, DreamWeaver, Fireworks, Flash and Contribute; and ALEKS, a math tutoring program. The Mac computers have a full complement of video and sound editing software, including iMovie, Garageband, and iPhoto.

Hours & Information

  • Library Hours: The library is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Computer Lab Hours: The computer labs are open daily from 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
  • Circulation: Student ID cards are issued to students for checking out items from the library.
  • Books: Books may circulate for two weeks. 
  • Magazines: Magazines circulate for one week at a time.
  • Videos: Videos circulate overnight only.
  • Renewals: Items may be renewed for an additional check out period.
