The thing I love about the WALK is that it brings us together and allows us to continue supporting our students with projects that really benefit them.

46th Annual WALK

4,000 miles walked
700 students impacted
1 unparalleled school

On Friday November 8, Immaculate Heart students, faculty, staff and parents will spend the morning walking through our Los Feliz Neighborhood. We walk to join in sisterhood with one another and all IH Alumnae who have walked before us, we walk to share our love for our amazing school, and we walk to raise funds for essential projects and programs not covered by tuition dollars.

Walk 2019 funds will:

Create the Student Experience Fund
We have many students who don’t participate in activities like dances, retreats, drama or other after school activities because their families can’t afford the associated fees. This fund will provide fee assistance to students with demonstrated financial need so that every student can get the most from their Immaculate Heart experience.

Replace outdated classroom furniture
Rumor has it that desks and chairs in a few of our classrooms date back to the 50s or 60s. While vintage furniture can be fun, these desks no longer meet the educational needs of our current students.

Support the Campus Development Fund
With a school that is 113 years old, we are continuously working to keep things running smoothly and meeting the needs of our current students. The Campus Development Fund provides financial support for projects like upgrading the student quad, providing additional shade and seating areas, and overall school improvement projects to ensure we are functioning to the best of our ability.

You can help make all this a reality and ensure this is the most successful WALK to date by making a gift today.

We will also happily accept donations mailed to the school, as we have in years past. Checks should be made out to "Immaculate Heart" and addressed to:
Immaculate Heart
Attn: Development Office
5515 Franklin Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90028

If you wish to mail a donation on behalf of a student, please clearly include the student's name and grade level on the memo line of the check, or on a note enclosed with a cash gift.

Be sure to check your company's gift-matching policy! Many companies will match any donations you make up to a certain amount or percent.
An independent, Catholic, college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
