What is your favorite Immaculate Heart tradition?
The tradition of talented and rigorous teaching, effective counselor/student interactions and access to a supportive and caring school community are the core traditions of Immaculate Heart.

What school tradition shows the spirit of the Immaculate Heart school community best to you?
The spirit of friendship is embodied in Welcome Day. The spirit of school pride is most apparent at the Junior Ring Ceremony. The spirit of devotion to Mary is best embodied in the school-wide celebration of Mary's Day.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words “The WALK”?
The WALK invites students, parents, faculty and staff to join together for a festive day of community — the culmination of a fundraising effort that directly supports our students.

What is special about an Immaculate Heart graduate?
Immaculate Heart graduates are critical thinkers and empathetic activists who are passionate about issues of social justice. We stand up for the rights of each person to be who they are — in the community, the workplace and the home.

What is your favorite spot on campus?
Any spot where students gather to laugh together, work together, play together or challenge each other is my favorite spot on campus. You never know where that might be — a classroom, the quad, the auditorium or the field.
A Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
