Why Immaculate Heart?

Immaculate Heart is a Catholic, independent college preparatory school dedicated to the intellectual, spiritual, moral and social development of young women in grades six through eight. In partnership with parents, we foster academic excellence in an environment that encourages students to develop a deep concern for things of the heart as well as the mind through leadership, service and a lifelong commitment to Christian values.

For over 115 years and 11,000 graduates after our founding, we continue to attract very talented and highly motivated students who represent the religious, ethnic and socio-economic diversity of the City of Los Angeles and its suburbs. We provide students with a strong foundation that prepares them for a successful transition into college and beyond.

AT IMMACULATE HEART, THERE IS A GREAT SENSE OF UNITY, POSITIVITY, AND PASSION FOR WHAT WE ARE DOING. THE TEACHERS ARE ALWAYS SO INVOLVED AND MAKE THE CLASSES FUN, AND THE CAMPUS IS SO WELCOMING!
Immaculate Heart Middle School begins in grade six and continues through grade eight. Our faculty members specialize in young adolescent education, and a low student-to-teacher ratio ensures students receive the individual attention needed at this pivotal time in their lives.

Students who wish to apply to Immaculate Heart Middle School are invited to attend our Open House on the first Saturday of December, schedule a tour or shadow day to learn more about our academic program and student life.

    • The Immaculate Heart Middle School Experience

      Immaculate Heart Middle School combines academic excellence with creativity and a lot of heart, engaging students both in and out of the classroom. From school plays performed by the Drama Queens to STEM-focused extracurriculars like coding and robotics, and from the mock trial team to the swim team, there are opportunities for every student to find their passion, learn and grow.
