Clubs & Activities

THIS IS WHERE WE ENGAGE.
From academic groups to creative outlets, there’s a club or activity for everyone at Immaculate Heart -- and with the freedom to start new organizations, students are empowered to shape their extracurricular experiences, fostering leadership, collaboration, and lifelong friendships in the process.

Unlimited Possibilities

Middle School

Beyond the Classroom

Our Middle School offers an exciting variety of clubs, activities, and organizations. Student government provides opportunities for leadership and community involvement, not to mention the chance to participate in daily morning announcements. Creative outlets like the Drama Queens, our student band, Pandas Rock, and our choir, Angelic Voices, inspire artistic expression. Students with a flair for crafting can join the Knitters & Knotters knitting club, and future engineers thrive on the Pandabots Robotics Team. For those interested in critical thinking and debate, Mock Trial offers an engaging platform to develop public speaking skills, while The Panda Press and Heartbeat Magazine encourage young writers and artists to share their voices and their vision. With these options and more, every student can find a place to shine, and if students want to participate in a group doesn't exist, they are encouraged to create new organizations.

High School

Student-Led Organizations for Every Interest

Our High School offers an incredible range of clubs, activities, and organizations. Our Debate Club travels nationwide to compete at the highest levels, while the award-winning Speech Club showcases our students’ exceptional oratory skills across Los Angeles. The Genesians Players bring several dynamic performances to life each year, and affinity groups like the Black Student Association, Asian Heritage Association, and Latinas Unidas foster community and cultural celebration. Students with a love for writing can contribute to The Bamboo, our student newspaper, or The Scribbler, our creative writing journal. Leadership thrives through our Associated Student Body (ASB), where students organize events and advocate for their peers. With these vibrant opportunities and so many more, Immaculate Heart students grow as leaders, thinkers, and creators.
A Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
