The Genesians

Pandas Take the Stage

Named for St. Genesius, the patron saint of actors, the Genesian Players, Immaculate Heart High School’s resident theater company, bring the stage to life with passion, creativity, and dedication.

Open to students of all experience levels, the Genesians produce a diverse range of performances each year, from beloved classics to contemporary works. Through acting, directing, set design, and technical production, students develop confidence, collaboration, and artistry—hallmarks of Immaculate Heart’s commitment to empowering young women.

Whether performing under the spotlight or working behind the scenes, the Genesians cultivate a love for storytelling and theater that lasts a lifetime.

25-26 Season

The Genesians proudly presented Into the Woods in the IH Auditorium. With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine, this beloved Broadway musical weaves together classic fairy tale characters, from Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood to Jack and the Beanstalk, on a journey that explores what it truly means to live happily ever after.

OUR TOWN

The Genesians recently transported audiences to the heart of small-town America with Our Town, the timeless classic by Thornton Wilder. This beloved play explored the everyday joys, struggles, and connections of the citizens of Grover’s Corners, reminding us that the moments we often take for granted are the ones that matter most.

With simple yet profound storytelling and an amazing in-the-round design, our talented Genesians brought depth and heart to this thought-provoking production, creating a moving theatrical experience for audiences.
