Overview

Immaculate Heart encourages students to participate in activities as a way of fostering and promoting their leadership abilities as well as their personal development. The school offers a variety of activities for students to get involved in leadership roles, community service and extracurricular programs. Student council, athletics, performing arts, campus ministry and community service, journalism and creative writing, mock trial, and robotics are a few of the many activities that provide leadership opportunities for our students.

Explore our Student Life offerings, including our comprehensive sports and vibrant arts programs, our traditions and celebrations that build community and school spirit, our service and campus ministry program that fosters a lifelong commitment to Catholic Christian values, as well as our clubs and enrichment activities that extend learning beyond the classroom. These experiences are designed to nurture student growth and broaden their perspectives of the world around them.

A Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
