Roxane Cornelius
What has been your favorite teachable moment outside of the office?
Kindness! I hope to lead by example. If you treat others how you would like to be treated, maybe they will in turn treat others they come into contact with kindly.

What is your favorite thing to order from the Panda Cafe?
I like the salad bar at the Panda Cafe. It offers a good selection and a great price. It makes me feel good when I eat healthy.

What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the words “The WALK”?
When I hear “The WALK,” I think of a fun time on campus!

What is your favorite spot on campus?
The chapel! For me, the chapel is a beautiful, quiet place to have a calming moment of prayer.

Where has been your favorite place to travel? Where would you like to travel next?
Spain! A few years ago, I did part of the Camino de Santiago. The Camino de Santiago is a walk leading to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galica in northwest Spain, where it is believed the remains of St. James are buried. It is known as a spiritual walk or a walk for spiritual growth. The walk has a calm, serene beauty to it. Next, no plans at the moment — however, the idea of Alaska sounds good.
