Kevin Cadenas
What do you hope students take from your classes?
I hope students get knowledge on how to work out, how to stay active and know the importance of fitness in their daily life.

Describe something interesting about your experience of being a teacher at Immaculate Heart.
I love to see my students being proactive, asking questions and asking for more. Even after only a short time, students start asking for more workouts that they can perform when they are not in class.

Besides teaching, what other roles do you play on campus?
I’ve been the head coach for our Varsity Soccer team for eight years now. I love showing athletes how to play the game.

How did you know you wanted to be a teacher?
I wanted to share my passion for fitness with students.

What has been your favorite place to travel? Where would you like to travel next?
My favorite place to travel is Barcelona. Next, I would love to travel to South Africa and its beautiful beaches.

A Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
