BFA & BSA Rite of Passage Ceremony

Rite of Passage Ceremony

Presented by: Immaculate Heart Middle & High School's Black Family Alliance & Black Student Association

Thursday, May 28, 2026 | 6 - 9 PM | IH Cafeteria

We invite you to join us for the first Immaculate Heart Rite of Passage Ceremony, hosted by the Immaculate Heart Black Family Alliance (BFA) in partnership with the Black Student Association (BSA). This special event honors two important milestones: our 8th grade students rising into high school and our graduating seniors preparing for their next chapter.

A Rite of Passage is a meaningful tradition that recognizes growth, identity, and transition. This ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate our students, affirm who they are, and uplift who they are becoming — surrounded by the love and support of their community.

Invited to Attend
  • culminating 8th graders and senior graduates, along with their families
  • BFA and BSA community members
  • Immaculate Heart alumni, faculty, and staff

A Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
