Computer Science Department

The Computer Science Department supports and encourages students to responsibly integrate computer science concepts and skills into all of their studies. The department strives to help students become informed and efficient users of current technology. Courses are designed to help students learn the fundamentals of computer science and basic technology skills necessary to thrive as a citizen and in the workplace. All courses emphasize computational thinking and problem-solving methods that can be applied to a wide range of subjects as well as everyday life. Advanced courses provide students with opportunities for further studies in computer science and its applications in mathematics, engineering, programming, and the creative exploration of a variety of digital media.
