What has been your favorite place to travel? Where would you like to travel next?
My favorite place to travel is Montana. I love the mountains and the lake, hiking, biking, boating and being outdoors. A part of me wants to explore new destinations, but Montana is my happy place.

What is your favorite project to cover and why?
In Algebra II with Trigonometry, I like to assign an animation project through Desmos, which is an advanced graphing calculator app. This project allows students to use graphs and colors to create a design that moves. The site is very user-friendly, allowing students to experiment, and with a given set of types of graphs — sin, cos, tan, ellipses, parabolas and hyperbolas, to name a few — every student can create an incredible project.

A Catholic, independent college preparatory school for girls in grades 6 through 12, Immaculate Heart has been located on a beautiful hillside property in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles since our founding by the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in 1906. We celebrate more than a century of nurturing the spiritual, intellectual, social and moral development of students as they distinguish themselves as women of great heart and right conscience.
