The Language Department believes that language learning provides new experiences, expanding the student’s horizon at each level. Such understanding develops the student’s awareness of an ever-increasing global interdependence. Furthermore, the study of another language expands the student’s understanding of her own language and cultural heritage, thereby enabling her to recognize and value her own uniqueness.
